In case my terrible pun wasn't obvious, this blog post will be about the PS4 game "7 Days to Die". Although now I've played so much of it, it's more like a way of life than a game.
When I first started I think I rage-quit straight away. It's harder than you'd think to make an entire outfit out of plants whilst trying not to get mauled by zombies (there is no pause in the menu where you create items/look at the map/view your character, only in the main menu). I went back later and turned down all the difficulty settings to the bare minimum (please don't judge me) and tried again. Next thing I knew, 3 hours had passed and I was running across the desert drinking yucca juice in nothing but a cowboy hat.
It's been a couple of weeks now, and after spending most of my Easter long weekend playing this game, I realised there's an online option. Now I'm not one for multiplayer/online games, but there's something weirdly satisfying about watching your neighbours die from the safety of your own home, knowing that you have plenty of chicken eggs and snowberries to keep you going through the night.
I'd give this game 10 out of 10 piles of sand, and throw on a few feathers to boot. Cop that.
